stand up what you believe in!
Stand up what you believe in? I stand up in what I believe in. For example I believe that god made a man and a woman for eachother. Not a man and a man or, woman and a woman. People say that we should just leave them alone because there in love but, if a man/woman was with an animal it would be a crisis. God made adam and eve not adam and steve. The first people on this earth were man and woman and god wanted to keep it that way but, since were all sinners it all changed. Gays and Lesbians say they were born that way but, they weren't they all had a choice and apparently they chose the wrong choice. That's what I believe in and I stand up to it. Everyone has something they believe in and thats what I believe in.

This is the cool/interesting/challenging thing about blogging: we get to tackle topics that are controversial, important, and sometimes even a bit personal. It gets tricky with some of these issues, because no matter what you say, someone will be offended. There are some people who would say you shouldn't post something like this, because other people might be offended. I don't agree. We should present our ideas in a calm, matter of fact, and polite way, and then we should debate the ideas.
ReplyDeleteAt the same time, other people would say a student shouldn't be allowed to post their views in favor of homosexuality, because that might be offensive. I disagree with that as well. We need to be able to hear eachother's ideas and beliefs, and then debate them in a civilized manner.
That said, let me challenge you: I personally believe in God, but say someone did not believe in God at all. What would you say to that person? Would you change your argument at all? There are so many aspects to this topic, so I think it's good to think about.
