Mall of America!!!

I was talking to my dad the other day and he told me about the Mall of America. He said that that is the biggest mall in America. I would love to learn more about the mall. I was so eager I goggled it I learned that the Mall of America is 4.2 million square feet; however, only 2.5 million square feet are available as retail space. That is really big! The mall has same stores as normal malls such as mount Claire mall Ontario mills. They have hollister, Forever 21, papayas, Victoria secret etc. They even have an amusement park inside the mall. College Thoughts.

College seems like a big step for me to be thinking about this early. A lot of kids don't understand that it is good to think ahead. If you keep your grades up colleges will see you, this is the time that colleges look at report cards and records. If kids work hard they can go professional academically and in sports. Like me for instance, I want to go to Cal State Long Beach with a full ride scholarship for volleyball. Everybody knows I like the sport, but it is not easy to keep up grades if all you think about is sports. If you want to be in a sport than you have to pay attention in your studies. Even though some people think it is good to get into a good college for sports, it is MUCH MORE important to be smart.

Josh Selby is not close to being the rookie of the year

I know for sure Josh Selby is not going to be the  rookie of  the year because I don't think hes truly a good basketball player.I think hes one of those players who is good in different basketball programs besides the NBA .For instance James Harden ,he sucks in the NBA right now .He's a shooting guard who cant shoot.But yet he scored 51 points at a DREW league .I don't understand that.But that's what i think Josh Selby is going to do. I think that Kimba Walker is going to be the rookie of the year. He's aggressive,fearless, and he plays under pressure like its a simple PAC-MAN game .So Josh Selby is not worthy of being thought to be rookie of the year.

Think about what you do

People really need to start thinking about what they do before they do it. So lately I have noticed more and more people doing just plain out reckless things. I know , just like everyone knows, that people make mistakes because no ones perfect but some things I just can't belive people do. Like I can't help but think what were you thinking, like honesty what was going on through your head?! If you know your doing something that is wrong or bad just stop and think of what could happen. No matter whats happening think of what your actions could do to you and those around you. If its at all going to hurt someone or cause problems and drama savor yourself the time and embarrassment. Even if you happen to make whatever the mistake is, take responsibility of what YOU did. Just don't go around feeling sorry for yourself and hiding while the other person or people envolved takes the blame and drama to handle themselves. So really think of what you do before you do it and it will save you on mistakes you would have made.

Church toughts!

I went to church today and I learned something I wanted to share. I learned that if you want people to treat you nice you have to treat them nice to. There is a memory verse that say treat people the way you want to be treated. So the means if someone says a compliment to you, you should say something nice to them to. If you say something mean to them then there gonna say something mean to you to. So really just be nice and friendly to people its not that hard. To learn more about the bible go here bible facts.

Dirty Phone

Wow, I never noticed my phone was that dirty.

This year sometime in June I watched the NBA draft and there were some really talented players. There is an argument of who would get rookie of the year. I have three guesses of who is going to get that award. First Number One draft pick Kyrie irving because he is smart and can score plus he only played 15 college games. Next Josh Selby because he is explosive and a very strong player.

Last but not least, Kemba Walker He is fierce, intelligent, and a leader he lead his team to the NCAA championship and did a lot for his team. He got drafted to the bobcats which Michael Jordan owns. I believe Jordan will mold him into a Dynamic Player.

Boy you so crazy

I think Edgar Allen Poe is a great write and has inspired many authors or poets. I also think he may have been mentally damaged from all the hard times in his frustrating life and took all his rage out on the characters in his stories, his creepy creepy stories. Like this one !dɹǝp!

My college question is how much would getting a master degree at cal state long beach cost? I think it will cost around 30,000 which I still don't get because because it really shouldn't cost that much unless you are getting a masters degree in astrology or something like that. But I figured I go to cal state long beach because it close to my dads house and the rest of my family. Also I was wondering if they have water polo there which I'm sure they do because its long beach. Totally Normal

My brother is real deep ,like when he writes poems or short stories ,your like wow really?Who thinks of that?Sometimes I wonder what goes on in his head.But yea, he acts normal .Nothing really happened bad in his life.He's just really smart.But my mom is too ,so maybe she just past it down to him.There just both genius.

Authors, Psycotic or Normal

An author can write psychotic and twisted but that doesn't mean they are psycho. Foe example, Edgar Allen Poe writes creepy and weird but he is not. He had a rough life. When he was a child his mom died of tuberculoses. Later on in his life his wife also died of turberculoses. This how he was inspired (in a wierd way) to write a story called "Masque of the Red Death." Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery" is also a wierd story. In this story if you win the lottery you die. Some writers don't have to psycho to write it.

Different Minds

Everyone has a different mind and different ways of expressing themselves than others and to say that someone is crazy just because of what they write is unfair. Perfectly normal people may write the most disturbing things but that's just their style of writing and opinion. Many say Edgar Allan Poe is a bit mental but I believe he just had life very hard and different than others so he had different experiences and perspectives on things which brought his mind somewhere else and more creative. To be able to write the things he wrote he had to have some intelligence and also he had very high vocabulary that many can't understand which also goes to show that just because you can't understand something doesn't make it weird or psycho. Also things may be the other way around like a truly psycho person can seem perfectly normal or say and write normal things but in the case of Edgar Allan Poe I think he is perfectly normal with a very challenged life that enables him to write such stories that some may find disturbing.

weird authors with weird stories!

Edgar Allen Poe has written really weird stories but that's totally normal. I have read many books with really weird authors. Why do they write books like that? They write books like that to catch your attention. The books may be weird their interesting. Many people judge th authors when they write weird stories. People think the author is crazy if he/she write weird stories. I don't agree with them. I think weird stories are better than boring or sad stories. Its a free country authors can write whatever they want. Why doesn't anyone judge Lady Gaga with all the crazy out-fits she wears. People should just let authors write what they want and if they don't like the stories then don't read them. Sometimes people may write crazy stories because they have been through a lot in their life.

Edgar Allan Poe wrote a lot of psychotic minded stories that only a wrong person can write? Wrong!, just because you write stories about murder and scary things doesn't mean your crazy. It could mean a lot of things. It could just mean your a versatile writer and can write about various subjects. It could also mean that you just want to surprise people because you usually write about something else. You might just right that simply because that's the easiest for you to write. Edgar Allan Poe had a horrifying life at times and portrayed that through his writing. Totally normal

Edgar Allan Poe

Poe wasn't psycho, he just has been through a lot in his life time. If Poe was psycho he wouldn't be so real about all of his ideas. Being psycho kind of consists of actually acting psycho. In a video I saw about him he talks very calmly and he never raises his voice unless in fear. Poe was a very disturbed person, yes, because he lost so many loved ones in his past. He suffered from abandonment issues and didn't know if anyone he will meet had the disease,tuberculosis. He lived in a life time of fear, like his long poem, Raven. It may have sounded psycho or crazy, but it was just his feelings mixed in with exaggeration. I know where people are coming from with this sort of thing, some people may say that I am crazy for having such a "psychotic" dream when I was 6. Edgar Allan Poe wasn't psycho, he just knows how to keep his readers in suspense.

This link shows that Edgar Allan Poe had a very tough life. So if anybody calls him psycho I would understand, but also a lot of people may be very discouraged going through the life he had.

College Question

In junior high we have been talking about college. If I do go to college what types of sports will they have? I am planning on going to Cal State Long Beach, and I know they have a really good volleyball team, but how about other sports? Like softball for girls or football for both? If people want to attend a certain college they will need to be satisfied with all of the customs. Cal State Long Beach is a great school for every sport. Sports isn't just all about school. Also what kind of academic studies do they teach? Are their teachers good? There is so many questions about college I could ask. Even if the sports teams aren't that good that's not all it is about. Everybody has to be thinking about their academic situation also.

I think they should be put together into one college like USCLA. But I understand why, because I don't like Pioneer because they are the rival school. it's natural. Pioneer probably doesn't like our school either. I think rivalry between schools is good because it brings out competitiveness in games and academics. I know a lot of people who like USC and UCLA and they don't like each other but I just think it's healthy.

My question about college is what sports is there in college? There is many sports in college. For example there is volleyball, Swimming, Baseball, Softball and many more, but the best sport for me is Soccer. I love soccer thats my life. I have played soccer for 5 years and it is very fun. I have a question about college. My question is If your going to school and study a certain material and play sports then get drafted do you still continue with your studies? I mean if you do continue would it help? Me personally I would continue because, I went to college more than sports school comes first.But if you did the sport and didnt finish the studies,imagine if you got injured. Then you wouldnt have anything to fall back on and you'd lose all your money. I think its more smarter to continue studieseven after sports.

My Question About Collage

So I don't really know much about collages and what I'm going to do, but one thing I know is that soccer is a really big part of my life that I really enjoy. So one of my big plans is to try for a scholarship or be accepted on a good team. My main question about collage as of right now, is what collages have a good soccer team? So after researching on http://www.ncaa.com/sports/soccer-women/d1 I found that UNC the University of South Carolina is really good winning 19 NCCA championships out of 25. Also Nortre Dame, Flordia State, Santa Clara, and the universities of Virgina, Portland and Flordia have good teams as well. All teams listed are division 1 teams which shows great success and skill. Answering my question helps and gives me an idea of what to look for.

My idea of making peoples day would help elderly folk get around or take their shopping carts in. I have actually tried this before and they are actually very grateful and seeing them smile makes me feel good inside. Also if there is someone in line behind you, give them your change.

PICKING UP TRASH FOR 1 DAYS

I'm going to try to change the world by picking up trash to day .My guess is that I am not going to do it.I might totally forget or be to lazy.But if I do ,I have a feeling that i might get mad .Because I will be complaining, why people litter?Then I might make a goal for my self never to litter again.Or not.We will see.

The reward of being nice

Last week i posted that I was going to be nice and help my neighbor with her yard. I did help her and she actually rewarded me. I helped her twice the first time she didn't tell me anything. The second time she gave me a reward. You see if your nice to people you are seen as a good person. Sometimes people may say thank you or not say anything but either way you did the right thing, and in your heart you know its the right thing to do ,and you feel good of accomplishing your goal. I know it made me feel good because helping the world and the people around us is really good. If you help a person you can actually influence them and they might become a very good person. Just think about what your going to say before saying anything. If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.

My Way of Being Nice!(:

Just be nice! That's what parents and teachers everywhere tell you. Usually being nice consists of just smiling, but some people think other wise. I realized that picking up trash is one way of being really nice in the world. If you see a thing of trash laying on the floor, don't walk past it, PICK IT UP! Just remember that being nice makes you feel good and it helps others also!(:

Hard Work=Success

Yesterday I was outside practicing on my handles(Basketball dribbling skills) for a good 30 minutes. During the process of practicing it became to cold so I went inside. When I got inside I got on the computer to get on Facebook. When I got on There was this video about basketball players who wanted to make it to the NBA. There was this guy who held this other guy under water until he almost drowned, when he pulled him up he said,"This is the feeling you have to get used to if you want to play basketball. He also said,"You have to play basketball like you want to breathe.
This inspired me and from now on I'm going to try to work hard in basketball as well as every aspect in my life like its breathing.

Hard

As usual my outcomes of being nice

So as usual I was nice to people around me and as usual some appreciated it and others ignored it going on with their day. So still nothing has really changed some people smile back regularly, some give big smiles (which makes me fill good like I some how helped their day just by being nice) and then theres those other few people who just keep staring without any notice or just plain out ignore me. When I recieve nothing back it just reminds me of the people who have yet to learn manners or kindness. Like when I went to the store with my mom a lady sneezed and not only me but my mom also said bless you to her and she just kept walking to her car without even a nod of appreciation to us. So some are probably thinking maybe she just didn't hear us but we said it loud and clear so I know she heard us but either way it didn't bother me because at least I tried and I still made other people smile.

Success

The random compliments have been going well because when i say something nice to people they smile and It changes their attitude. It also makes me feel better like I actually changed someones day. I just wanted to do what I would like to happen to me.

We Should All be Nice to Each Otner

The war is a bad influence for further generations. Thats why we should make peace with everyone and deal with all the problems. Being friendly to everyone could be the start of that. Shaking some ones hand once in a while could be nice. Saying hi to local pedestrians is also nice. Starting a charity for older people could make them feel less lonely. If we all work together we could make a nicer world.

Just be Nice !

In class we have been talking about being nice. People that are nice have a lot of friends and have a lot of respect from other people. Being nice isn't hard at all! Knowing that your a nice person is a great thing. Just think about it, if your nice then people will treat you the same way. A couple ways to be nice are, 1. Just smile at someone, NOT in a unreasonable way. Some people may be in a bad mood and just a simple smile may make their day better. Another way to be nice is to help an elderly person across the street. If they are having trouble crossing and the light is about to change help him or her across and it will keep them from getting hurt and it will keep you from feeling like a HUGE JERK! Just give someone some sympathy. If your stuck in traffic and someone is trying to get over into your lane let them pass.
